Meet Bre Welch

Beauty has always been part of Bre's story.

Long before she became a professional hair and makeup artist, Bre spent 17 years training as a classical ballet dancer. While performing, she discovered another passion backstage, creating stage makeup and styling hair for fellow dancers. When injuries brought her ballet career to an unexpected close, she followed that passion into the beauty industry.

More than 25 years later, Bre has built a career that spans luxury weddings, editorial shoots, commercial campaigns, television, runway, and celebrity clients. In 2010, she founded Leather & Lace Artistry with one goal: to create a bridal beauty experience that feels as exceptional as the final look itself.

Today, Bre leads a team of ten artists with the same philosophy that has guided her career from the beginning: listen first, create intentionally, and make every client feel comfortable, confident, and completely themselves.
